321- blast off!!

Space Shuttle Discovery went up on Sunday night after a few delays!! One of the many perks of living in central Fl. is that you can see the shuttle take off from your yard! In our case from our driveway! I love being at the coast to watch it, but don't love the drive home in all the traffic so we watch it on the tv take off and then run outside to see it. It was a very clear night! Works beautifully! Keep in mind, the space center is @ 60 some miles away!! I didn't get to video , but I got one good picture. If you follow the contrail up to the very left side of the picture you can see one white dot that looks like a star. That is the shuttle itself!!

Yes! We did the same thing- we watched the liftoff on TV & then ran outside to see it in the sky. It never ceases to amaze me!
