Kids and teachers and Peacocks? Oh My!

The kids school is surrounded by multiple farms. On one of these farms they have about 8 peacocks! On any given day, you can see them strutting through the field. On this particular day, they decided to get brave and visit the parents in the "pick up" line after school!! This was taken right outside my driver's side door window!



Here is a pair going to greet someone else!! The kids find them amusing. They aren't really a threat or anything. They flee when approached. Apparently they aren't afraid of the cars though! Aren't they beautiful!! Thank you Lord for your beauty in nature!

    my kids would LOVE that. They would totally be throwing food out the car window so the birds would follow us home:-)

    They ARE so pretty! There is one that lives next door to my in-laws and I am always hoping for a "show" when we're there visiting. :)

    Wow, they are beautiful!!! They have those roam free at the zoo, but they do run too if you get too close.

    Oh..and I was laughing at the comment you left on my blog!!
